...to be continued

Most of life I've noticed lately is to be continued. There are very few times in life that you can say Game over! Now that the baseball playoffs are on...game over is coming to most teams, but there is still more to come...to be continued. Life just seems to go on. And most of the time it never turns out exactly the way we plan it to.

Take our Com242 gathering this evening. We were encouraged that two new families and one friend from work were going to join us. Well two phone calls later and we were down to the friend at work, John, who brought Vanessa. We enjoyed good time and good food together. They seemed to gel pretty well with us but I'm not going to write any endings to this story just yet. It is definitely just starting out with much more to be continued.

Another to be continued story is the transition of Roger & Cynthia as they received an offer on their home today. So we'll wait and see what God has in this unfolding saga we call life. As for the Angels, they lost tonight in New York, so their to be continued has them playing a deciding game 5 tomorrow in Anaheim. My mom, Roger, Rick and Robin will be there to root them on.
